Can no longer screw cyclists over in Seattle!

You don’t know how happy this makes me.

I guess he ran out of customers to screw over.

Be very careful since I know he was trying to open a martial arts studio in the Seattle area.

So I didn’t learn my lesson on the first custom bike I order from Fabien and all the delays, promises etc … I was stupid enough to order another one.

I didn’t have much choice if I wanted another Independent Fabrications since TiCycles was the only authorized dealer in Seattle at the time.

Unless you want consent delays from Fabien and consent excuses about your group set being out of stock or the vendor not shipping it for weeks because they suck,

DO NOT BUY from TiCycles. FABIEN PICARD is a liar and will screw you.

So you want some history? Fabien orders my IF Crown Jewel. He got the frame in a record breaking 4 weeks (Independent Fabrications ROCKS!). Too bad it supposedly took 7 weeks for the group set. He said he ordered it when he ordered the frame. He had the frame for 3 weeks before he got the components in and blamed it all on his vendor. So the same thing happens with the Club Racer but he has the CUSTOM FRAME for 4 weeks before he ships it off to me. I didn’t learn the first time I guess.

10/14/07 Update

Acknowledgements for those that help after Fabien screwed up yet another order.

Thanks to guys at IF, I got my frame back in yet another record time. Luckily between Fabien’s lame ass packing and Fedex the frame was not bent or cracked. IF blasted it and repainted and had it back to me in 10 days. Amazing! These guys know what customer service is!

Then the guys at Veloce Bicycle in Portland Or. stripped the frame, shipped it to IF and then rebuilt the new painted frame. Since Fabien also put some really cheap ass hubs and wheels on it I bought some nice DT Swiss R-11/240s from Joe Young (great guy and some REALLY nice wheels) and this is one damn nice Club Racer!

Here is the fork. Good work Fabien Moron Picard. Set it up so that the rear cassette chips the paint and dents the fork.

Oh and if that wasn’t enough the brake levers did this to the frame.

Here it is now, about 4 months after I ordered it from Fabien owner and liar of Ticycles (with Ultegra hubs which are now DT).
